Brow Feathering (Microblading)
Brow Feathering, also known as microblading or feather touch brows, is a cosmetic procedure that creates the look of individual hair strokes to fill in sparse brows. Using a precise blade, the technician makes minute cuts in the superficial layers of the skin, and a pigment is applied over the top, absorbing into the incisions to create semi-permanent, soft, gap-free, natural-looking brows.
This procedure is performed over two appointments, 4-8 weeks apart, to perfect the results. Pigment is selected based on your skin's undertone, starting softer and perfected at the retouch. The treatment costs €400, which includes the consultation and first brow feathering session, and a complimentary review appointment 4-8 weeks later to refine the brows.
Top-ups are recommended every 12-18 months for €150. To ensure optimal results, avoid using retinol, vitamin C, peels, or exfoliators on the area two weeks before your appointment, and refrain from caffeine, alcohol, and blood-thinning medications in the days leading up to it. If you're planning any facial peels, Botox, or collagen treatments, ensure these are done at least 4 weeks before your appointment. To make things easy, an online booking system is available for scheduling, and you can also add other services as needed. Let me know if you need assistance with booking or specific time requests!.
How should I prepare?
4 weeks before your appointment. If you plan on having any facial peels/laser/Botox or collagen injectable/filler this must be completed at least 4 weeks before your appointment.
These treatments can make your skin thinner and more sensitive, resulting in more bleeding which can affect color retention
1-2 weeks before your appointment Discontinue all use of retinol and glycolic acid. These thin the skin and can affect color retention. Avoid sun exposure, to avoid sunburn.
2 days before your Appointment No caffeine/alcohol. This can affect your comfort levels during the procedure and result in heavy bleeding which can affect color retention. Discontinue medications that thin the blood including fish oil, aspirin, and ibuprofen (consult your healthcare provider).
